Cherry mesh tank IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Cherry in San José: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with cherry in Costa Rica
If you are looking at cherry in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.53 per 10 ml.
The short version: cherry in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry mesh tank really costs in San José
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested cherry in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
