Caramel e-liquid bundle IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Caramel in San José: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Caramel e-liquid bundle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: caramel in San José works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
We run caramel the same way in San José: same e-liquid bundle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested caramel in a e-liquid bundle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a e-liquid bundle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.61 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a e-liquid bundle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for caramel in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | ₡66 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ₡2.61 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.61 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How much does a e-liquid bundle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.61 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
