Candy zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Candy in San José: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with candy in Costa Rica
We run candy the same way in San José: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Candy sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, zero-nicotine bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
If you are looking at candy in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested candy in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where candy goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.79 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | ₡65 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ₡2.79 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.79 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does candy in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In San José we measured 9 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
