Candy RDA IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Candy in San José: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
We run candy the same way in San José: same RDA, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy RDA really costs in San José
Candy in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested candy in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in San José survives.
