Blackcurrant zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Blackcurrant in San José: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The honest read on blackcurrant: 16 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested blackcurrant in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
How long does blackcurrant in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In San José we measured 2 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
