Blackcurrant refill pack IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Blackcurrant in San José: 24 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a refill pack for blackcurrant
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant refill pack really costs in San José
The honest read on blackcurrant: 24 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested blackcurrant in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.24 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
