Blackcurrant nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the price shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Blackcurrant in San José: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.55 per 10 ml.
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: blackcurrant in San José works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested blackcurrant in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
