The short version: berry in San José works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry refill pack really costs in San José
The honest read on berry: 18 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested berry in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where berry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
