Apple vape pen IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Apple in San José: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
A apple vape pen from the compared options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.62 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Apple in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: apple in San José works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple vape pen really costs in San José
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.62 per 10 ml.
How we tested apple in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where apple goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
