Apple sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Apple in San José: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a sub-ohm kit for apple
Apple in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on apple: 23 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Apple in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested apple in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where apple goes wrong
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
