Vanilla in San José: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good zero-nicotine bottle from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you are looking at vanilla in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, zero-nicotine bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
Vanilla zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested vanilla in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
