Vanilla zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Vanilla in San José: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: vanilla in San José works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
Vanilla zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested vanilla in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.52 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for vanilla in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
