Home / Vanilla starter kit IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist

What vanilla costs in San José

A vanilla starter kit from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.49 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

The short version: vanilla in San José works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a vanilla starter kit really costs in San José

The honest read on vanilla: 18 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

How we tested vanilla in a starter kit

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
• Spare parts availability for starter kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.

Where vanilla goes wrong

• Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in San José survives.
• Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.

The rules that apply here

Packaging for vanilla in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
