Vanilla pen device IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Vanilla in San José: 21 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with vanilla in Costa Rica
A vanilla pen device from the bulk options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.01 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on vanilla: 21 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in San José
Vanilla pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
