What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
We run vanilla the same way in San José: same nicotine salt bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A vanilla nicotine salt bottle from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, nicotine salt bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Vanilla in San José reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested vanilla in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.48 per 10 ml.
