Vanilla disposable vape IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Vanilla in San José: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on vanilla: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run vanilla the same way in San José: same disposable vape, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla disposable vape really costs in San José
Vanilla in a disposable vape is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested vanilla in a disposable vape
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.74 per 10 ml.
