Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at vanilla in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on vanilla: 10 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla cartomizer really costs in San José
If you are looking at vanilla in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested vanilla in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.83 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.83 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
