Vanilla 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Vanilla in San José: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.43 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Vanilla 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested vanilla in a 10 ml bottle
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for vanilla in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
