Tropical nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the order shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Tropical in San José: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The honest read on tropical: 12 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested tropical in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
