Tropical 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Tropical in San José: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Tropical 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, 10 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
We run tropical the same way in San José: same 10 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
