Tobacco nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Tobacco in San José: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a nicotine salt bottle for tobacco
Tobacco sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.58 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested tobacco in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.58 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
