Tobacco 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Tobacco in San José: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a 100 ml bottle for tobacco
Tobacco sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at tobacco in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
We run tobacco the same way in San José: same 100 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tobacco in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.4 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
