Sweet zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the review shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Sweet in San José: 23 units tested over 3 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good zero-nicotine bottle from a repack
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.55 per 10 ml.
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: sweet in San José works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
Sweet zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sweet in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.55 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sweet in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
