Sweet starter kit IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Sweet in San José: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Sweet in San José reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet starter kit really costs in San José
The honest read on sweet: 13 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
