Spiced sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Spiced in San José: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Spiced in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
The honest read on spiced: 9 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested spiced in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.12 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
