Spiced pen device IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Spiced in San José: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Spiced pen device here
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Spiced pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced pen device really costs in San José
A spiced pen device from the bulk options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.66 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested spiced in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
