Spiced box mod IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Spiced in San José: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the spiced habit
If you are looking at spiced in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run spiced the same way in San José: same box mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced box mod really costs in San José
Spiced box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested spiced in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in San José survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
