Spiced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Spiced in San José: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What spiced costs in San José
Spiced in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A spiced 30 ml shortfill from the bulk options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
We run spiced the same way in San José: same 30 ml shortfill, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested spiced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.52 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for spiced in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
