Spiced 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Spiced in San José: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What spiced costs in San José
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.53 per 10 ml.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
If you are looking at spiced in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested spiced in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
