Spiced 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Spiced in San José: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with spiced in Costa Rica
If you are looking at spiced in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: spiced in San José works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Spiced in San José reaches the shelf in 10 ml bottle formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested spiced in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
