Sourcherry starter kit IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Sourcherry in San José: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Sourcherry starter kit here
Sourcherry starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at sourcherry in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sourcherry in San José works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry starter kit really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sourcherry in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
