Sourcherry RDA IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Sourcherry in San José: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
The honest read on sourcherry: 19 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: sourcherry in San José works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

How we tested sourcherry in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.91 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
