Sourcherry pod kit IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Sourcherry in San José: 15 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What sourcherry costs in San José
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.59 per 10 ml.
The short version: sourcherry in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry pod kit really costs in San José
Sourcherry pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sourcherry in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
