Sour vape pen IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Sour in San José: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
A sour vape pen from the cheapest options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on sour: 10 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour vape pen really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sour in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.48 per 10 ml.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
