Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Salted sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested salted in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.2 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
