Where buyers go wrong with salted in Costa Rica
Salted 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A salted 30 ml shortfill from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.27 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested salted in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.27 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
