Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Salted 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.17 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested salted in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.17 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
