Raspberry sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Raspberry sub-ohm kit here
If you are looking at raspberry in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Raspberry sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: raspberry in San José works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a raspberry sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
We run raspberry the same way in San José: same sub-ohm kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested raspberry in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a raspberry bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does raspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the raspberry blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
