Raspberry starter kit IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
If you are looking at raspberry in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a raspberry starter kit really costs in San José
If you are looking at raspberry in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested raspberry in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a raspberry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every raspberry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does raspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the raspberry blend itself harsh.
How long does raspberry in a starter kit last?
In San José we measured 8 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
