Raspberry pod kit IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Raspberry in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Raspberry sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: raspberry in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a raspberry pod kit really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested raspberry in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a raspberry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Mixing raspberry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.88 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | ₡30 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ₡2.88 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does raspberry in a pod kit last?
In San José we measured 7 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does raspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the raspberry blend itself harsh.
