Raspberry pen device IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Raspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.75 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a raspberry pen device really costs in San José
Raspberry in San José reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested raspberry in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a raspberry bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.75 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
