Raspberry box mod IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Raspberry is allowed to say
If you are looking at raspberry in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a raspberry box mod really costs in San José
We run raspberry the same way in San José: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested raspberry in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every raspberry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Mixing raspberry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why raspberry tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On raspberry the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.4 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does raspberry in a box mod last?
In San José we measured 9 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should raspberry start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
