Raspberry 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Raspberry in San José: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for raspberry
Raspberry in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Raspberry in San José reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested raspberry in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a raspberry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every raspberry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On raspberry the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.21 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does raspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the raspberry blend itself harsh.
How long does raspberry in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In San José we measured 4 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
