Plum sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Plum in San José: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Plum sub-ohm kit here
The honest read on plum: 24 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plum in San José reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Plum sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.64 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
