Plum RDA IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Plum in San José: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What plum costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Plum in San José reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum RDA really costs in San José
If you are looking at plum in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.52 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
