Plum in San José: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you are looking at plum in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the e-liquid bundle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: plum in San José works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
The honest read on plum: 17 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a e-liquid bundle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a e-liquid bundle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for e-liquid bundle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a e-liquid bundle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
