Plain e-liquid bundle IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Plain in San José: 23 units tested over 7 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with plain in Costa Rica
Plain e-liquid bundle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the e-liquid bundle you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested plain in a e-liquid bundle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plain goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.76 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a e-liquid bundle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
