Pear pod kit IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Pear in San José: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: pear in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pod kit really costs in San José
A pear pod kit from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.45 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.45 per 10 ml.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
