Pear disposable vape IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Pear in San José: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on pear: 8 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run pear the same way in San José: same disposable vape, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: pear in San José works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear disposable vape really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a disposable vape
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in San José survives.

On the last run in San José: about ₡2.59 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
