Pear box mod IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Pear in San José: 16 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with pear in Costa Rica
Pear in San José reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A pear box mod from the bulk options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear box mod really costs in San José
Pear in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in San José survives.
